You'll have easy access to the whole of the Portes du Soleil when you stay at this two-storey apartment, just a five-minute walk from a lively resort, and only 500m from the nearest ski lifts.
The village of Les Gets offers a good choice of restaurants, shops and bars, as well as a variety of entertainment in both summer and winter. If you'd like to explore further, the shuttle bus stops just 100m from your door, And when snow conditions allow, you can even ski from and straight back to the chalet – the perfect option for winter sports enthusiasts.
You'll be just a few minutes' walk from Lac des Écoles, which in summer offers a swimming area, an inflatable obstacle course, trampolines and beach volleyball courts. Hikers and bikers will also be able to explore the region's breathtaking Alpine scenery on a network of footpaths and mountain bike trails. Finally, Le Valais Nook's hot tub is a great place to relax when you return from your day in the mountains.

About the property…
Just 1km from the centre of Les Gets, Le Valais Nook is a two-storey, four-star apartment for eight guests (six adults max) located in an Alpine chalet. It combines traditional mountain style with modern comforts, and is perfect for discovering the Portes du Soleil with family or friends.
The entrance is on the first floor of the building, with an internal staircase leading to the second floor.
To the right of the entrance, the first bedroom has a double bed, an en-suite shower room with WC, and direct access to the first terrace, where you'll find the hot tub. To the left of the entrance, a second double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with bath and toilet.
The living area on the second floor is a comfortable place to get together with the rest of your group. The living room is very cosy, with a comfortable sofa and chairs around the television. The open-plan kitchen is modern and fully equipped, including a coffee machine and induction hob. Between the two is a dining table, large enough to bring your whole group together.
A long terrace offers breathtaking views of the Alpine scenery, as well as a table and sofas, where you can enjoy the fresh air.
A third double bedroom on the upper floor has an en-suite shower room with toilet. The final bedroom is a bunk room for two children, also with an en-suite shower room. There's also a separate toilet.
All the double beds in Le Valais Nook can be divided into two single beds, depending on the needs of your group. The property also offers a bike locker and a heated rack for your ski boots, as well as two parking spaces.
About the area…
Les Gets and the neighbouring towns of Morzine and Avoriaz are part of the Portes du Soleil, an area of 12 resorts stretching across the French-Swiss border.
It's possible to ski all the way into Switzerland, but only the most experienced will be able to take on the Swiss Wall. Famous for being one of the steepest and most difficult descents in the world, it is marked in orange because it is much more dangerous than a black run. But there are plenty of alternatives for skiers of all abilities in this vast domaine, with 650km of pistes.
Non-skiers will not be bored. In neighbouring Morzine, you'll find both indoor and outdoor ice rinks. You can also watch hockey matches or catch a film at the cinema.
The more adventurous can try their hand at snowmobiling or climb one of the region's frozen waterfalls. Those who prefer to take it easy can explore the surrounding area on a sleigh ride or snowshoe trek. Organise tobogganing sessions or visit the Indiana adventure park in Morzine – a fun day out for all ages.
In spring, the snow-covered slopes give way to lush green valleys, a paradise for hikers, cyclists and thrill-seekers. Take the ski lifts up into the mountains and come back down at your own pace. Visit the resorts of Morzine and Avoriaz, or the village of Montriond and its lake, perfect for a walk, picnic or kayak trip.
Les Gets and Morzine have been awarded the Famille Plus label for their entertainment and child-friendly facilities.
There are water parks in and around Avoriaz and summer toboggan runs. Les Gets and Avoriaz have excellent golf courses. You can also go climbing, rafting, via ferrata, canyoning, quad biking, fishing, etc.

Feel welcoming and warm. Everything was think through to make your stay easy. From the instructions to every small details in the house. a well equipped kitchen, a nice view jacuzzi, some board games. lots of extra if needed. everything you need for small children and baby. the welcome drink and chips. perfect place, would love to stay more longer. the possibility of check in or out early or later if needed and available. the fire place, the Sono was amazing.

The OVO Network Review
Le Valais Nook is a two-storey apartment for eight people (six adults max) Its central location makes it ideal for enjoying the delights of the Alps.The nearest ski lift is just 500m away.
There are two double bedrooms on the first floor and two additional bedrooms (one double and one bunk room for children) on the upper floor. Each bedroom has a private shower room, and all double beds can be converted into twin beds, should you wish.
The communal areas on the second floor are organised around a cosy lounge with a large sofa and television. The open-plan kitchen is modern and fully equipped, with a large dining table where you can all get together for meals.
A separate toilet is also available on this level.
There are two terraces at Le Valais Nook, perfect for enjoying the alpine air. The one on the lower level has a hot tub, while the other is furnished with a table and sofas.

We fell in love with Les Gets when we first came here to ski with our three children seven years ago.
It is the perfect resort with so many activities to occupy the family all year round. We chose Le Valais Nook for its location, south-facing orientation, and spacious luxury.
The area is quiet, yet just a few hundred meters from the resort centre. The ski bus stops right outside, or you can walk down to Les Perrières Lift.
The bedrooms are all generously sized, there is a hot tub on the south-facing terrace, and as enthusiastic cooks, we have equipped the kitchen with everything we could think of.
